EXCITING NEWS FOR MINERAL SPRINGS:

Thanks to my leadership and several years of hard work by your town council, Union County has completed its sewer service to downtown Mineral Springs.

Click the Union County seal to the right for the 2013 sewer announcement right from Union County's website!

With sewer service now available, we are finally seeing much-needed improvements to our downtown business district as property owners have begun to redevelop their properties with actual functioning bathroom and kitchen facilities! A cafe is preparing to open in the house next to the Kangaroo, and the owner of the shopping center across the street is beginning his renovations! This one sorely-needed piece of county infrastructure has held our town back for years, and your governing board's patience, persistence, and dedicated leadership have finally brought county officials to the rescue.

A PERSONAL MESSAGE...

One of the most rewarding aspects of my 16 years of service to the people of Mineral Springs has been the privilege of working with a town council that operates as a TEAM...with the interests of YOU, THE CITIZENS always in first place.

With several nearby towns in the news recently due to councils and mayors who are so unwilling to work together that they can't even handle basic government functions, the elected officials of Mineral Springs have "kept their eyes on the prize", working together to find the solutions that will work best for the whole town.

ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3!

My Commitments:
  • Keep our town's unique identity
  • Maintain our LOW, LOW tax rate
  • Continue our policies of responsible fiscal conservatism
  • NEVER use your tax dollars to benefit a few special interests
  • Preserve our beautiful wilderness, creeks, and open space
  • Ensure that any new development meets OUR standards, not some developer's standards
